When a transaction is concluded, we consider that several marketing channels played a part in the conversion scenario (e.g. SEO, SEM, affiliation). Attribution is a way of determining what proportion can be attributed to which marketing channel for the sale (e.g. 50% SEO, 30% SEM, 20% affiliation).
The choice of an attribution model depends on the purpose of your website. We usually provide the following recommendations:
- General websites (wide variety): constant model
- Specializing websites (single product): decreasing models.
You can obtain further information and advice by contacting your Mazeberry consultant.
You can select an attribution model by clicking on the icon on top of the analysis page. Please see our help document to get more information about attribution models.
Third contribution refers to a contribution from a marketing channel to another, as opposed to a contribution “by itself”.
Retroactivity refers to the possibility of generating an analysis based on analytics data from a past period. For example, with 1 month of retroactivity, if I generate an analysis on the 3rd of February, then I can work on analytics from the 3rd of January as a maximum.
Once your analysis is generated, it can’t be deleted. But you may create an “archive” section in your projects list. Go to your dashboard and, under the left-hand menu, fill in “Label for a new project” (e.g. type “archive feb 2012”) and press “Create”. Then, use the Move button to drag and drop your analysis onto the new project.
Mazeberry Express is a complementary tool to other WA solutions. It allows a better understanding of the real performance of each e-marketing channel (such as Affiliate networks, SEO, SEM, Social Networks and so on) through tables and graphs, and provides additional information thanks to a more accurate analysis. While Google Analytics tells you how much revenue is generated for each conversion scenario, Mazeberry Express tells you more precisely which marketing channel is playing which part within the same scenario and gives proportion in terms of revenue, contribution, and so on. In a few words, Mazeberry Express helps you to know the real ROI of each marketing channel.
On average, our customers save one day per month since they use Mazeberry Express.
Plus, you can get help and advice from our consultants (who obtained the Google Analytics Qualified Individual).

Mazeberry Express is secured so as to protect all your data which could travel through the systems accessible while using our solution, and protect them permanently from third parties or other users with no authorization of access. Confidentiality of the exchanges is ensured by the SSL protocol with a 256-bit key. Moreover, Mazeberry Express is a registered application in the Google API developer program.
We only collect data for the application purpose (building the analysis, check the access authorization), legal obligations and billing. Data collected are you e-mail address, name, company’s name, Google Analytics profiles (see below), traffic sources and IP address. We will never share or sell your data without your consent.
We use a credit card processing company to bill you for services. They do not share, store or use your confidential or personal information for any other purposes.
Your data are stored for at least 1 year unless your account is active. If you want to delete your account, you can do it from your dashboard, or by contacting us at support@mazeberry.com. All your data will be deleted, except those required by law.
We use the Google Analytics API to access your data. We can’t access your Google Analytics Data unless you authorize us. Authentication is handled by Google and if you want to, you can revoke it from your Google Account.
We never collect your Google Analytics password. You only provide Mazeberry’s application the authorization to access your Google Analytics Data via the API. Mazeberry never knows nor use your password. The authorization can be revoked from your Google Account.
There is a risk of interception every time data travels between Google Analytics and Mazeberry Express, even if it is secured. Moreover, it would take too much time to get the data from Google Analytics API every time you consult your analysis. So we store aggregate data required for the analysis from your Google Analytics reports, but we can’t add, update or delete it: data is read-only.
The only persons who will be authorized to access your Google Analytics data are you and those you gave access to your account. Our staff will never share data without your consent. You can choose if you want to make your analysis private: if so, our staff won’t be allowed to read it.
If you lose your username or password, you can ask for it to be regenerated by clicking the “Forgot password” link on the login page (enter your e-mail address and press “send”, then check your mailbox and follow the instructions).
